In 1982, in the sourthern island of Chiloé our cannerie was born with the firm purpose of bringing the best the sea has to offer to all chileans. A decade later, our Angelmo brand would come to signify the south, the seas that surround it and the effort and push that characterizes the people of our country.

Angelmo is a family business that since its inception has strived for the connection between good nutrition, a healthy life and environmental conservation, achieving day after day the perfect combination in the sea products to consolidate our work. We are comitted to only use raw materials that fulfill an integrated approach to sustainability and preservation, working with handling areas, sustainable fishing and aquaculture.

Through the years we have adapted to the constant changes and necessities of chileans and the development and progress of the activity has led our growth both nationally and internationally, never forgetting our roots in the south of Chile.

In the year 2004 we inaugurated an expansion of our new processing plant with the purpose of meeting the growing need for high quality food consumption and we standarized our productive processes to meet different international standards such as the International Featured Standard (IFS) and the Aquaculture Stewarship Council (ASC) reaffirming our commitment to excellence and the environment by working and elaborating our products in a more responsible way.

Currenty, Conservas Angelmo works dilligently in the improvement of human talent directly with its colaborators, the incorporation of new technologies in its processes and the development of new products to strengthen its presence in the national market.
